Maithon an impeccable destination located 48 km from dhanbad in the North Chotanagpur district is a power house for many places across north india . know for its massive maithon dam on barakar river this place has enormous beauty in disguise which will leave you awestruck .on my recent visit i untangaled some of its mystic beauties .
1- perfect picnic spot
if for you picnic spot means peaceful time with your mates/family in middle of a place where you find yourself surrounded by hills ,island and water and which would leave you baffled by the beauty of the nature this place is for you .with the cool breeze and perfect food and a cozy company along,it is amazing
2-amazing weather
not many people know that maithon is know for its weather .During winter temaprature is around 17-21 in the day and comfortable cold in the night,some light winter cloths will be enough .And during summer because of its location near river you will be safe from scorching sun,better takes your shades off and enjoy the weather.
3-merged culture
It is located at the border of Jharkhand and the West Bengal so will get to the cultureral diversity,that will make you astonishing how amazing this small place could be.with all kind of people around you with best of hospitality,gratitude and generosity.
4-Mouth Watering Food
thing that surprised me most on my visit is, vivid variety of food items available.Because of its geographic location differerent variety of foods are available here.whether its spicy chaat or crunchy pani puri, but my personal favorite is the aloo chaap serve at the bengal side .With the perfect blend of spices along with musturd sauce , along with hot tea is enough to make you fall in love with this astonishing place
5-pocket is friendly
while planing the family outing most people gives importance to their budget,this place wont make you down,trust me.with all kind of luxury under budget ,what else you dream for
